Your Matrix Key System comes with the best possible service contract - and that's no contract at all.

Traditionally, an inherent characteristic of restricted key systems is that the client becomes 'tied' to the supplier for the life of the system, resulting in either the need for extensive service contracts, or, exposure to possible exorbitant charges & 'they can wait' attitudes once the initial system is installed. Not to mention the issues the client faces if their supplier closes for holidays; or even worse, goes out of business.

With Matrix, not only can you can choose your own service provider for any installation, service & repairs to your locking system, you're free to change service providers at any time, and for whatever reason. You can even pick and choose according to the job required - options include certified 'Matrix Agents', 'Matrix Installers', your local locksmith, your builder, a handyman, or even your own maintenance staff. Matrix will provide the cylinders and job-relevant system details to any service provider you specify.

Matrix Agents are located throughout Australasia and are our preferred service providers (we will supply you with a list of Matrix Agents for your area). Matrix Agents are generally locksmiths that have undertaken Matrix 'component level' service training and they stock Matrix components which allows them, for example, to make on-site modifications to your 'access rights structure' by simply replacing components within the lock cylinder, rather than replacing the complete cylinder. They can also reset cylinders that have used up all their phases.

Matrix Installers are generally builders, developers, door suppliers etc that install your cylinders as they install your locks on a new project, saving you a 2nd round of labour charges. If all keys can be accounted for (we can tell you how many there should be) when you move in, there's no need to use a 'phase', if however, keys are missing the problem is easily rectified by simply ordering your Phase-2 keys.

To ensure transparency and fair pricing for everyone, all installation & service work is quoted and invoiced directly to you by the provider and Matrix does not add any charges or fees to their bill. By the same token, all cylinders, keys, software etc are billed directly to you by Matrix.

Whoever you choose for your service and installation work, your vital system records are always held and managed by Matrix Key Systems, job-relevant details are then released to your specified service provider when required. Record-keeping is of vital importance and this ensures your records are always safe, accessible, accurate and up-to-date.

All key orders are handled directly between your authorised 'signatories' and Matrix Key Systems. Service providers cannot order keys (unless of course you designate them as a 'signatory').
