Key / Lock Access Structures - define which keys open which locks
Keyed Alike - all your locks operate on the same key - also referred to as a master key.
Keyed to Differ - each lock operates on different keys.
Master-keyed and Keyed to Differ - each lock operates on different keys, and there is a 'master key' that operates all locks. Commonly found in hotels / motels.
Special Keyed - essentially whatever access structure you need. Often it mimics your corporate hierarchy tree, allowing each staff member to carry one key that will operate whatever locks you designate.
Adds cost depending on complexity, but this is our specialty and we thoroughly enjoy it, so we only seek to cover costs, not bend you over.
ABC - unique to Matrix - it gives you 3 simple levels of keys - A, B & C.
The A key is your 'master' key, it will operate all your locks.
The B & C keys will only open whichever locks you choose.
You with me so far? Now listen up, here's the weird bit. When we supply each lock, the B and C keys will also operate everything, however, YOU can disable the B and C keys from whichever locks you choose by simply turning special programming keys (and yes they're unique to your locks, nobody else can reprogram your locks).
It allows future flexibility! You know how hindsight is a beautiful thing, ABC is your foresight!
ABC is the perfect alternative to Keyed-Alike. Even if you don't think you'll need it, you never know what the future holds. Eg - it will start off just like keyed-alike with everyone having a 'B' key, which operates all your locks. Perfect. Then one day you want to stop the workers from accessing the management offices. Simple. You order 'A' keys for the managers and disable the B keys from operating the offices. The new A keys work everything, and the B keys still work everything except the offices... lovely... and for a total cost of $50 in new keys! Then later you need to give access to couriers to drop packages inside the yard, but you don't want to give them a B key because that lets them into everything else. Simple. You give them a C key and disable the C key from any lock you don't want them to access.
And of course you still get our unique phasing function if keys are lost or stolen.
Simply unbeatable features and value you won't find anywhere else in the world.
We are not 'world-leaders' or better than our competition. We simply don't have competitors, we are the only ones that do what we do. "
