Control
'Future keys are only available through Matrix Key Systems, and only on verification of authority, ensuring that you can control key quantities and prevent unauthorised duplication of your keys. (Verification processes will be tailored to suit your security & convenience needs.)
Each key in your system is permanently marked with encryptions that identify the 'Series' of key, eg, Master Key, Cleaners Key, Office Key etc, and then the sequentially assigned issue number of each key within that 'series', so for example the 3rd Master Key you order will be marked with MK.03. Matrix records these details for every key we manufacture and any particular key can be traced back to specific order and date.
Being able to control key quantities has its obvious advantages but a point that is often overlooked and under-estimated in its criticalness is documenting exactly which key you give to which person and making it 'accountable' to that specific person, eg, by having them sign an 'key acceptance form'.
If you don’t do this, you have no records of where your keys are and your investment in a key control system is largely wasted.
Depending on the size of your system you could do this in different ways.
